What does your company do to promote your brand at sporting events?  Or events with sports team sponsors?   In the photo above, Christine Speedy and fellow Circle of Wise Women, are promoting the Florida Panthers sports brand.  Note white around the panther logo helps to add contrast against the red.

5 Tips To Better Branding With Promotional Products At Events:

  1. Use high contrast colors to make your logo stand out
  2. Don’t be afraid to go outside your usual color palette. For example, choose team colors for promotional items.
  3. If attending with peers, only offer gifts that you would personally use.
  4. Offer multiple gift choices so people can choose what they like. For example, a lot of women don’t wear caps, but men usually love them.
  5. Stock up for the season on items for varying conditions and bring what’s appropriate for the weather that day.

If you have an active group, or  it’s a family event, bring something interactive that everyone can play with.

  1. I’m writing a promotional product specification for a los angeles radio station. what should i include?

  2. With the limited information, it’s impossible to guess. Items needed to begin selecting specific promotional items:

    Budget
Distribution – when, where, how many
    Recipient- demographic
    Goal -branding or something else
Tie-in’s – is there a call to action for rewards ?
Sponsors – are any sponsors to be included? (need to know their objectives) Can relationships be leveraged for mutual benefit?
